PG&E to Vent Gas in San Carlos, Prior to Hydrostatic Testing
An article from the San Francisco Examiner reports that hydrostatic testing on the PG&E pipelines in San Carlos have been rescheduled. The first step, set to begin on 10/12, will be to release the gas from the lines.

First Zoomlion crawler purchased in U.S. by Axis
Khl reports that crane manufacturer Global Crane Sales has sold its first QUY260 crawler crane in the U.S. to Axis Crane. The crane features Linde pumps, a PAT/Hirschmann LMI system, Pfeifer wire rope and a Rexroth motor.
The marks the first sale of the product in the US, following the company's partnership with Hong Kong based manufacturer, Zoomlion.

Take These Broken Wings - Defective Hydraulic Pump to Blame for Broken Art Museum Roof Piece
A defective hydraulic pump is to blame for the signature wings malfunction, reports The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The Hydraulic pump was removed in August, and found to have some defective hydraulic parts. The sentinel reports that the hydraulic pump parts have been ordered and the wings should be fully operational soon, as none of the 22 other hydraulic pumps were in need of replacement parts.
